The Tehelné pole, also known as Bratislava’s National Football Stadium, is one of the most modern venues in Central Europe. Opened in 2019, it has a capacity of 22,500 spectators and is certified with UEFA category 4, allowing it to host international matches and European finals. It is the home of ŠK Slovan Bratislava and also of the Slovak national team.

Designed with sustainability in mind, it stands out for its energy efficiency system that uses up to 50% of renewable sources, as well as cashless technology and facial recognition. Its modern design includes 42 VIP boxes, natural grass and a rapid evacuation system.

The Dutchman Sander van der Eijk, born in Amstelveen in 1991 and international since 2022, will be in charge of refereeing the duel between Spain and Romania for the second day of the U21 Euro, which is contested in Slovakia.
