RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG TO LEAVE ORLANDO PIRATES FOR RANGERS AND SALZBURG?

The 19-year-old winger from Sharpville, Gauteng has only four goals and six assists in 34 games for Orlando Pirates, but his ability to beat defenders is remarkable. According to the Rangers Review, the Scottish giants Rangers and Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg are keeping an eye on Mofokeng. English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are also still in the picture after the Orlando Pirates star attended trials at the club in 2023.

“Reports from Scouts in Attendance claim Rangers are on of a number of European teams interested in Orlando Pirates winger Relebohile Mofokeng,” Rangers Review reported.

“They report that the Ibrox club are keeping tabs on the emerging talent, aged 19. He has already caught the eye of clubs in England. He had a trial at Premier League side Wolves, before also being offered the chance to impress at Reading.

“Al-Ahly and Red Bull Salzburg are among the other clubs who hold an interest,” the report added about the Bucs youngster.
