West Chester quadruple murder sentencing to begin
A West Chester man could learn if he'll be sentenced to death for the murder of his wife and three members of her family.
Gurpreet Singh was found guilty by a three-judge panel on Friday for those 2019 murders. All four victims were found shot to death in a West Chester apartment in 2019.
In order for the death penalty to be put in place, all three judges would need to unanimously vote on that sentence.
Singh is expected in Butler County court Monday morning for that sentencing.
One dead in Middletown shooting
Middletown police are investigating after a shooting early Sunday morning that killed one and sent two others to the hospital.

Officials say once they arrived on scene, three people were found to have been shot while sitting in their car. Police say two people were transported to the Atrium Medical Center for treatment.

Mother-Daughter nursing unit
Coming out of Mother’s Day Weekend, everyday is a good day to remember the impact mothers have and one nursing unit is taking that to a new level.
We all want to make our mom proud, but one group of nurses are taking that idea to a whole new level, not only by working hard but working along side their mothers.
WLWT spoke with three sets of mother-daughter duos, all working in the Special Care Unit nursery at Mercy Health Anderson. They help bring more life into the world in their unit.
The daughters say their mothers inspired them to work hard and be the best versions of themselves, so they did just that by throwing on a pair of scrubs and following in their mother’s footsteps.
Cell phone ban bill
A controversial bill is heading to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s desk.
Efforts to ban cell phones in schools have cleared the state House, as Ohio lawmakers passed a bill that would allow school districts to create regulations to limit phones.
It’s part of an effort to restrict screen time and limit distractions in class.
It would require all public schools to create phone use policies during school hours, as well as require the education department to set a model policy schools can choose to use.
Gov. DeWine has just days left to sign it.
